OAK DESKS AND BOOKSHELVES
Design and manufacture a pair of matching desks in solid oak, and bookcase using solid oak and some oak veneer, in period house with original wooden floors, staircase, doors, etc.

HENDERSON STREET

TIMBER PANELLED BEDROOM
Use timber panelling to create window surround and cupboard seat. Create recessed bed alcove with new, cantilevered bedframe and storage cupboards above. Create new mirror-fronted wardrobes with cupboards above. Insert mirror panels into doors, upgrade front door from flush panel to traditional 6-panel design.

MOSTON DRESSERS

BUILT IN DRESSERS
Design, manufacture, install two twin units with cupboards below and bookshelves above with lighting. Design must be in keeping with the Georgian Living Room so elements in the woodwork at the windows and elements from the marble fireplace were "echoed" in the design of the dressers.

RENFREW ROAD

GARDEN GATE
Design, manufacture and install new gate between house and garage, using pressure treated softwood.

MERCHISTON

COFFEE TABLE. Design and manufacture bevel glass topped Coffee Table in Oak.

MAYFIELD

BATHROOM UPGRADE in letting flat. Remove old appliances, old tiling, old flooring. Exchange new shower unit for bath, install new Basin & WC in fitted units. Tiling, decor, vinyl flooring.

RELUGAS STAIRCASE

NEW DOGLEG STAIRCASE.
Former cupboards and utility room demolished, new opening cut and braced in ceiling/attic floor.
New staircase with diagonal winders designed and made on site, with all components apart from handrail made bespoke in my workshop and on site. Real and veneer oak used for Treads and Handrail, painted redwood for Newels, white painted MDF for Risers, Stringers, and Balusters.

RELUGAS

DORMER WINDOWS
Install steel post system designed by engineers, to reinforce existing roof structure and to take loading from new, large dormer construction. Fabricate laminated beams with mortis and tenon jointing. Roofer to strip slates and sarking and assisting erection of main structure. Timber stud haffits, pitch roof. Sarking board cladding for slates. Install double glazed PVC triple window unit. Roofer to do all external weatherproofing work in felt, slate, lead, etc.

RELUGAS

FRENCH DOORS in GABLE WALL
Propping up roof and projecting wall capstones, removing cavity wall, rebuilding jambs with insulation and DPC, installing concrete cill, installing Catnic steel beam to Engineer`s specs, rebuilding brickwork between beam and capstones. Customer to do all finishing work throughout property.

RELUGAS

NEW STAIRCASE
The project involves designing and building a four-winder staircase from scratch. A new hole into the attic floor was made, steel beam installed, brick walls removed then the skeleton structure of the stair installed to conform to regulations.
